Craig has over twenty five years experience in the financial services industry gained as institutional research sales, equities analyst and Chartered Accountant. Prior to co founding GFFM in 2016, Craig held positions as Vice President at Deutsche Bank, J. B Were & Sons (nee Goldman Sachs) and Commonwealth Bank. Craig commenced his career as an accountant with KPMG in 1988 where he completed his professional year. Craig graduated from Monash University, with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in accounting and finance. He holds a graduate diploma in accounting from Swinburne University and completed the Securities Institute of Australia associate member qualifications.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Managing Director of financial consulting firm Evidente, Sam is a top rated quantitative analyst and has over 20 years experience in financial markets, with Merrill Lynch, JBWere and Goldman Sachs. Sam's research on firm complexity and corporate governance was shortlisted for the ESGRA awards in 2010. He has written for the Fairfax mastheads, including The Age, Sydney Morning Herald and Australian Financial Review, is a member of the Australian Centre for Financial Studies, and lectures in Risk Management at RMIT and the Singapore Institute of Management. Sam has a BComm (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University.

Shane has worked in a broad variety of roles across the financial services industry – as an equity options market maker with Optiver Australia, an asset consultant with Frontier Investment Advisors, a quantitative analyst with County Investment Management and an equity analyst and portfolio manager with INVESCO Australia and Karara Investment Management. Shanecurrently works as an independent strategic financial consultant.
Professor On Kit Tam, RMIT
Professor Tam was previously Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor Business International at RMIT, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, and Director of China Research Centre at Monash University. Other appointments included executive/academic positions at the Australian Commonwealth Government Department of Treasury, the University of New South Wales, and Phillips Hong Kong. Professor Tam has published extensively on China’s economic and financial reform, foreign investment, and corporate governance. Professor Tam has been consultant and adviser for major multilateral organisations (World Bank, Asian Development Bank), Chinese and Australian government organisations, and international corporations (Lend Lease, Rio Tinto, MLC Financial Services), and was an independent director of a joint venture fund management company in China set up by the CBA.
Dr Monica Tan, Deputy Head of Finance Department, RMIT
Dr. Monica Tan completed her PhD degree at Monash University in 2004. She is a researcher in Finance with specific interests in corporate governance, ownership structure, investor behaviour and decision making, which she has attracted a number of external research grants. She has also received a number of grants and awards which recognise her teaching and learning excellence and innovation such as providing real-time feedback to students, designing game-based activities and financial simulation. Besides her extensive experience in academia, she has professional experience as a Risk and Governance Client Manager at Deloitte Tohmatsu and Senior Consultant at Oakton Ltd., Melbourne where she managed and delivered numerous projects to a wide pool of clienteles in various corporate and public sectors.
Mike has over 30 years experience in the legal profession. In his current role at Herbert Smith Freehills, Mike is responsible for cross border transactions and linking capability to clients' needs across the Asia Pacific region. He works closely with boards and senior management on strategic issues affecting their organisations. Mike draws on valuable experience gained from a number of previous roles including Chief Counsel at BHP Biliton, and most recently, Global Head of Corporate and member of Herbert Smith Freehills' Global Executive Management Committee, as well as a non executive director of Alumina Ltd. Mike advises clients on public and private mergers and acquisitions, crisis management, equity capital markets, joint ventures and governance.
He has extensive experience in financial services, energy and resources.
